A cooperação com o Brasil teve início nos anos 1970. Ela se iniciou acolhendo estudantes de doutorado. No total 36 professores brasileiros obtiveram um doutorado em Ciências de gestão do IAE.
Do lado da pesquisa, os acordos CAPES/COFECUB permitiram desenvolver intercâmbio entre pesquisadores do IAE de Grenoble e a Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) sobretudo em Sistemas de Informações em Gestão. Saliente-se que uma dezena de professores da Escola de Administraçao da UFRGS são titulares de um doutorado em Ciências de Gestão da UPMF.
A cooperação seguiu com o desenvolvimento da política de mobilidade de estudantes entre o IAE e o Brasil. Todos os anos o IAE recebe cerca de 25 estudantes brasileiros nos diferentes programas de master e principalmente no contexto de 15 acordos de cooperação universitária entre as universidades brasileiras associadas e cerca de 90 executivos seguem cursos de formação de máster de curta duração.
Master in International Management
Brazilian double Graduation Program
Based upon its long cooperation with Brazilians universities, Grenoble IAE (Graduate Institute of Business) has designed a specialized double graduation program majoring in International Management with the universities of Sao Paulo (USP-FIA) and Rio de Janeiro (PUC-IAG). Taught in English, the program enables Brazilians executives already registered in masters in Brazil to be graduated with the Master in International Management of Grenoble IAE.
The participants have to attend additional seminars in Grenoble during one month. The program includes a comprehensive set of courses, case studies, projects and business game aimed at develop international business and management skill and cross cultural competencies.
The program focuses on the knowledge required by managers to work in a global business environment:
- Training and problem solving analysis in global management
- Development of management skills and ability to fill management positions
- Understanding of the cross-cultural stakes of global business
- Change management in a global context.
Since the beginning of this special program, more than 200 brazilians executives have been graduated.
Master Ingenierie Marketing
The main objective of this program is to provide the participants with a general, technical and up to date overview of knowledge and skills in Marketing Management.
Other objectives are : demand and competitive analysis, design and implementation of a market study, strategy design, implementation and control, Marketing mix policies.
A professional training program
It is a part time program, designed for managers already in activity. Teachers are both academic and consultants. This make it possible to make a bridge between a high master of theories and concepts and a true ability to use this master in their day to day activities.
An international training program
The curriculum combines courses given in Brazil by Professors of the USP and courses given in France by French professors (168 h), the later being taught in English.
This year, courses taught by French Professors are :
- Marketing andmarket concepts
- Competitive analysis and strategy
- Selling
- Business negociation
- Sales force management
- E-communication and direct marketing
- Packaging and merchandising
- « MARKSTRAT » business game
At the end of the program, participants may receive two grades : Brazilian “Ingenharia de Marketing” MBA and French Master in Marketing, specialization “Ingénierie de Marketing”.
Master Information Systems and Organisation
This programme is designed for managers who wish to develop their knowledge and skills in information system and acquire an international vision of information systems, especially in the context of growing exchange between China and European Union.
A professional training program
It is designed for managers who wish to develop their knowledge and skills in business in an international context. The schedule has been designed to allow participants to combine their professional activity and training.
An international training program
The curriculum combines courses in Brazil as well as Information System English language courses in France (80 hours).
